How can I avoid detection when the interview platform monitors page switching?

How is user privacy ensured?

We promise not to record any user information, ensuring the maximum protection of your privacy. Additionally, we recommend the following ways to protect yourself:

  • Use a separate email to register your account. Note: Do not use a disposable email service from the web, as our account system is strongly linked to email and only supports login via verification codes. Using disposable emails will prevent account recovery.
  • Do not disclose any real names while using this tool. We will provide specific answer optimizations for resumes in the future, and we will continue to protect your privacy by applying sensitive information protection on the client side.

Technical

Why can’t I install the client?

  • Windows: Ensure your system version is Windows 10 or above. If your system version does not meet this requirement, we recommend using the browser version instead.
  • MacOS: Ensure your system version is MacOS 13.0 or above. If your system version does not meet this requirement, we recommend using the browser version instead.

Why can’t I connect to the client?

  1. Make sure both of your devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Do not use the company intranet or campus networks.
  2. You can connect your computer to your phone’s hotspot or your phone to your computer’s hotspot. After switching networks, be sure to click the “Force Restart” button on the client and then go through the configuration process again.
  3. You can refer to the solution below for connecting your phone to the computer hotspot.

How to use on campus/company networks?

When sharing your mobile hotspot, you may experience network instability. In such cases, we recommend using your computer to share a hotspot with your phone. Choose the appropriate connection method based on your computer’s operating system.

Windows Computer Dual-device Guide

  1. Connect the computer to the campus network or home wifi.
  2. Enable hotspot on the computer. For Windows, go to “Settings” > “Network & Internet” > “Mobile hotspot”.
  3. Connect your tablet or phone to the computer’s hotspot.
  4. On the computer client, click the “Repair” button, then the “Exit” button, and re-enter the client. On the second entry, you’ll see a network permission pop-up, make sure to allow it.
  5. Refresh the page on your tablet. In the dual-device connection pop-up, click the “Configure” button and follow on-screen instructions to configure the connection.
  6. Monitor the connection stability.

Mac Computer Dual-device Guide

  1. Connect the computer to the campus network or home wifi.
  2. Enable hotspot on the computer. For Mac, follow the Apple official guide.
  3. Connect your tablet or phone to the computer’s hotspot.
  4. Refresh the page on your tablet. In the dual-device connection pop-up, click the “Configure” button and follow on-screen instructions to configure the connection.
  5. Monitor the connection stability.

What to do if voice recognition is inaccurate?

  1. Wearing earbuds can increase accuracy.
  2. It’s challenging to achieve 100% accuracy in voice recognition, especially with technical terms in English and Chinese; this is a common industry challenge.
  3. If recognition is inaccurate, try repeating your question to improve accuracy.
  4. Use the input box at the bottom left. If recognition is unclear, quickly type in the current question’s terms.

What to do if screen remote control is inaccurate?

  • When the text is too small, the accuracy of remote screen recognition decreases. Please enlarge the text before recognition.
  • You can zoom the page by holding the Ctrl key (Cmd key on Mac) and scrolling your mouse wheel or pressing the plus key on the keyboard.

Why does my dual-device connection keep disconnecting?

  • If either device enters sleep mode during use, it will automatically disconnect from any network due to system restrictions. Ensure the screen stays on during use.
  • We’ve enabled screen brightness to stay on by default. If your browser doesn’t support the screen wake API, you need to set the screen timeout to “never” in the system settings. Refer to your phone or tablet’s system to find out how to adjust screen timeout settings.

What to do if “Check Certificate Availability” in Safari browser loads endlessly?

  • This is often due to certificate caching issues causing Safari to malfunction. Close the browser from the background and restart it to resolve the issue.

Error loading client: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found

  • Please install the missing dependency library: Download here. After installation, restart your computer.
  • If the problem persists, please contact us promptly.
